DARWIN, NT - CONTRACT/ TEMPLooking for a talented Integration Developer to join our team in Darwin on a 12 month contract to help deliver modern, reliable integrations for a major digital transformation program. What You’ll Be Doing
Design and build integrations using established application development standards.
Produce technical designs and implement well-structured, multi-layered solutions.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders during requirements gathering and delivery.
Apply modern engineering practices including version control, unit testing, and issue tracking.
What you’ll bring
Strong experience building multi-layered applications with C# .NET, web applications, and SQL Server.
Experience with web services, mainframe integration, and/or message queues (e.g., IBM MQ).
Hands-on skills with .NET MVC, WebAPI, or ServiceStack.
Proficiency with modern version control (Git, Mercurial, or Subversion).
Demonstrated practice writing unit tests.
Experience using issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
Experience partnering with business analysts for requirements discovery and translation into technical solutions.
Experience creating web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks.
Experience with a client-side JavaScript library such as Knockout or Angular.
Capability in technical architecture/design and building well-designed solutions.
Tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science, or software engineering.
Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver within agreed timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
Nice to have
Desktop UI development experience (ideally WPF).
Web development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
Experience with an ORM such as NHibernate, LLBLGen, or Entity Framework.
Relational database design experience using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle.
Unit testing frameworks such as NUnit.
Experience working on Education projects
