DARWIN, NT - FULL TIMECathara Consulting is an Australian-based Consulting firm specialising in Business Transformations, Technology Consulting & Resourcing Services.
Our Darwin based client requires a Midrange Senior Systems Administrator to provide expert design, planning and system administration management in a midrange hosting environment. The successful candidate will provide expert level virtual server administration, operating systems management, cyber security support, application hosting support and advice, enterprise storage, backup and recovery.
The contract is for an initial 12 months with 2x 12-month extension options.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Expert level of knowledge and experience in server system administration and midrange products such as server virtualisation, process automation, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, Authentication Services, Firewalls, Reverse Proxy technologies, Pure Enterprise storage, VEEAM Backup and Recovery.
Demonstrated experience as a lead technical resource in problem management and ownership to work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve difficult issues, meeting critical deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
Advanced cyber security knowledge and experience in investigating and resolving cyber security issues as they arise.
Demonstrated knowledge of the ITIL service delivery model and its use in delivering services in a customer focused organisation.
Extensive experience at leading technical teams and proposing enterprise creative and innovative technical solutions with a focus on continuous service improvement.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and influence key stakeholders.
Create and maintain architectural documentation and other key technical documentation across specialist products.
It is preferable the successful candidate will be onsite in the Darwin office.
The successful candidate will be required to have a Working with Children Card and undergo a criminal history and National Police Check.
