As part of our continued growth in the Northern Territory, we are expanding our Darwin consulting team and are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant / Senior Project Manager to lead a significant transformation initiative for a major client.
This is a high-profile role requiring a strong delivery leader who can operate confidently across executive stakeholders, business operations, technology teams and external vendors in a complex enterprise environment.
About the Role:
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of a major transformation project involving organisational change, stakeholder engagement, governance, delivery oversight and business readiness activities.
Working closely with senior client stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving outcomes, managing risks and ensuring successful adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading complex transformation and change initiatives from planning through to delivery
Managing executive and senior stakeholder engagement across business and technology functions
Establishing and managing governance forums, reporting and delivery controls
Coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors and delivery partners
Managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks and dependencies
Driving organisational change, communications and business readiness activities
Supporting strategic decision-making and providing trusted advisory services to client leadership
Building strong client relationships and contributing to Cathara’s growing NT presence
About You:
You are an experienced consulting professional and delivery leader who thrives in complex environments and can confidently navigate organisational change.
You will bring:
8+ years’ experience delivering large-scale transformation or enterprise projects
Strong project management capability across business and technology initiatives
Significant organisational change and stakeholder management experience
Proven ability to engage effectively with executives, steering committees and operational teams
Experience working within Government, utilities, health, infrastructure or enterprise environments
Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills
Willingness to relocate to Darwin and work closely with local client teams
Experience delivering ERP,HRIS, digital transformation or enterprise technology programs
Formal project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, SAFe or equivalent)
